Lay Institute For Evangelism (LIFE) is a four month lay evangelism school. We exist to help church members to become more effective in their purposeful witnessing for the Lord. Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37, 38. LIFE equips you to be that effective harvester for the Lord. Notice that Jesus said that the harvest “is plenteous.” The harvest is there! It is the Holy Spirit that ripens the harvest, Jesus said that the need was “labourers”, not “ripeners.” Our goal at LIFE is to train you to train others. The Lay Institute for Evangelism (LIFE) is an ASI sponsored lay training institute located in Orlando, Florida. LIFE came into existence through the generous gift of a dedicated Seventh-day Adventist businessman by the name of Larry Sharley. Because of the visionary insight of Mr. Sharley, LIFE is now a fully operational Bible training school dedicated to equipping Seventh-day Adventist church members to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
