    A summer full of outreach and wonderful learning experiences.
    The SUMMER INSTITUTE is a 5 week offsite experience filled with practical training. During this Lay Member-Bible Worker program, the student will be equipped to be an effective soul-winner for the Kingdom of Christ. This program is designed for those who only have the summers available and is held at offsite locations throughout North America.

    Students will learn how to reach those “wistfully looking to heaven” by doing door-to-door community outreach. They will also learn how to prepare and deliver Bible Studies on every Bible doctrine, how to prepare and deliver evangelistic sermons, how to recognize conviction and other basic skills of evangelism. The student will gain experience not only in the classroom , but more importantly by participating in active, relevant, outreach ministry.

    CYCLE OF EVANGELISM

    This module is designed to introduce you to Evangelism being a cycle rather than
an event. Topics covered during this module include:

    1. 1. Necessary elements for maintaining revival in your life
    2. 2. Having a fruitful and enjoyable prayer life
    3. 3. Ways to study the Bible so that the Living Book is alive for you
    4. 4. How to share your personal testimony effectively

    5. 5. How to recognize conviction

    6. 6. How to foster decisions based on conviction

    LIFE on the EDGE (60 hours)

    While teaching the fundamental Truths of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, this
“sure to be favorite module” models for you in a Bible Study format how to:
    1. 1. Center your study on Christ
    2. 2. Mark your study in your Bible
    3. 3. Know the study well enough to share it with confidence
    4. 4. Defend the difficult texts associated with each study

    Be sure to bring a Bible that you will feel comfortable marking your studies in.
This marked Bible will become your well honed Sword for giving Bible Studies as
well as your sermon outlines for the BSBC Multi-Media Course. The suggested 
versions are KJV or NKJV.

    LIFE on the EDGE Multi-Media (16 hours)

    To enhance the sharing of the Truths taught in LIFE on the EDGE, this module teaches you
how to use Multi-Media presentations not only in a Bible Study but to preach an
Evangelistic Meeting. At the completion of this module you will have the “nuts
 and bolts” necessary to preach Evangelistic Meeting Sermons using your
computer (or one that you borrow).

    Revelation

    Focusing on the New Testament’s apocalyptic book, this in-depth study of the book of the Revelation takes you through the seven churches, the seven seals, the seven trumpets, the seven plagues, the 144,000, etc. while revealing Christ.

    Outreach

    What you learn in the classroom must be put into practice. LIFE is a very practical program that utilizes approximately 14 hours of door to door ministry each week. The student will experience the satisfaction of giving Bible studies, holding health expos, working in an evangelistic meeting, etc. This is by far one of the most rewarding classes at LIFE.
