Meet our Staff
Here at LIFE we have a very dedicated staff that strives and works very hard to make sure that things are running smoothly, a few of our staff are listed below.
Scott Moore
President/Director of LIFE
smooreWhile driving an 18 wheeler, Scott Moore felt and responded to God’s call to work for Him full time. After attending and working at Mission College of Evangelism, Scott accepted a call to work for the Michigan Conference at ARISE. During his time in Michigan, God revealed to Scott and his wife Melanie that He wanted them to train young and old for lay ministry in the church on a full-time basis. Scott was ordained at Michigan Conference Camp Meeting in June 2008. Scott received a call from LIFE to become their director in the Fall of 2008. Much prayer and tears went into the decision to leave what had been familiar for the last four and a half years and to accept God’s call to take LIFE to the next level. It is his privilege to serve God by serving you.
Seth Dixon
Program Director
sdixonThough it was not instantaneous or even a recognizable moment in time, Seth Dixon has felt God’s calling on his life to be a full time laborer for Him! Born and raised as a home schooled young man in the mountains of North Carolina, Seth was not satisfied with the way his life was going. At age 16 Seth stepped out in faith to attend Fountainview Academy, nestled in the mountains of British Columbia Canada, where his life was to be forever changed! Seth stayed on after graduation as an assistant boys dean, the youngest the school had ever seen, and flourished there for two years! Through much prayer and providential workings, Seth finds himself at LIFE, in Lady Lake Florida, working along side a great team of staff, helping train other young people to become more effective witnesses for Christ. Seth has a passion and love for Christ, that cannot go unnoticed! It is his privilege to serve God by serving you.
Jon Holland
ASI YFJ Field Supervisor
jhollandJon was working for a Fortune 15 company in Texas when a promotion brought him and his wife, Melinda, to the Pacific NW. While living in Washington state, the Lord began to impress Jon of his need to enter full time ministry. This was during the economic downturn of 2008. In the summer of 2009 Jon and his wife stepped out in faith to leave his secure job and do the Lord’s work. Upon completion of ARISE he became a Bible Worker at the Sonora SDA Church and then eventually came back to Dallas/Ft Worth. It was there that Jon was privileged with the canvassing portion of the Lord’s work. When asked why he would leave a secure, steady job in the first place, Jon simply quotes PP 126, “the happiest place on earth for him (Abraham) was the place where God would have him to be.” Jon is now serving the Lord as the ASI YFJ Field Supervisor.
