Lay Institute For Evangelism (LIFE) is a four month lay evangelism school, that exists to help church members to become more effective in their purposeful witnessing for the Lord. Jesus said, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." Matthew 9:37, 38.

Well-Rounded Evangelism Training

The Shortest “Walk of LIFE” LIFE on the EDGE Learn how to share, defend, and center Bible truth on Christ. You will leave this class knowing how to give Bible studies from your newly marked Bible.

This course starts with the Cycle of Evangelism and concludes with LIFE on the EDGE. The Cycle of Evangelism class (week 1) prepares you for giving the studies that you will learn in LIFE on the EDGE (weeks 2 & 3).

This course incorporates the Cycle of Evangelism module, LIFE on the EDGE, and LIFE on the EDGE Media course. After this session you will know how to put into practice an evangelistic calendar and how to train church members to use their Bible to win souls for Christ.

This practical “hands-on” program is designed to empower you to be a soul-winner. Classes include The Cycle of Evangelism, LIFE on the EDGE, Door-to-Door Ministry, Literature Evangelism,Health Ministry, Preaching Using Multimedia, and more!

LIFE equips you to be that effective harvester for the Lord. Notice that Jesus said that the harvest “is plenteous.” The harvest is there! And it is the Holy Spirit that ripens the harvest! Jesus said that the need was “labourers”, not “ripeners.” Our goal at LIFE is to train you to train others. The more “labourers” we get into the fields…the greater the harvest.

Lay Institute For Evangelism’s (LIFE) goal is to train and equip church members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in all facets of evangelism for the purpose of expanding God’s kingdom at home and abroad. The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to present to every living person the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14. The church recognizes this biblical mandate is for every believer of the church. LIFE’s goal is to help church members learn how to be effective in sharing the everlasting gospel. Our desire in this is twofold: to strengthen and support the growth of existing churches, and to train and assist willing churches or individuals to establish new work in their communities or surrounding areas.

Lay Institute For Evangelism’s (LIFE) central objective is to train individuals and churches to impact their communities in a powerful way for Jesus Christ. LIFE accomplishes this through:  Onsite Training (1) Two week Summer Institute (2) Four month Operation MissionLIFE, (3) online training modules provided by experienced professionals, (4) seminars, (5) conventions, and (6) brief intensives. We also hold partnership with churches, conferences, missions, and other church entities. LIFE’s business is to provide evangelism training at an affordable and easily accessible manner to assist the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
